Café Marlayne, French Restaurants
first opened its doors in January 2000 with the aim of
serving great value classic French bistro food.
Both our restaurants are quite different in style, size
and atmosphere. The constant which draws them together
is the food - that's the star of our show!
We offer a menu which changes either daily or weekly
depending on what's seasonal and at its best at that
time.
Whenever possible our ingredients are either local
Scottish produce (beef, steak, lamb, venison, fish,
scallops, organic salmon, prawns) or imported from
France (cheese, hams, duck, rabbit, black pudding).
We firmly believe in always fresh, always best quality,
always cooked with integrity and always mindful of
sustainability and locality. From soup to sauce to
pudding, it's all homemade.
We are open 7 days a week and vegetarian food options
are available at both our restaurants.
